*memories*

So I've been working on this project and I can't really say much about it cause it's not done yet and it's surprise but while I was working on it I found this video. It's from 2002 and it's probably the most awesome thing you've ever seen.

Danielle, Caroline and I filmed our whole summer the year after our sophomore year. A couple of my FAVORITE parts include the opening which is Caroline laying across a bar stool trying to fly... she then goes on to say, "I'm flying, like a mermaid!" seriously? haha, but it's soo funny to us. Then there's the part we choregraph a dance to the Aaron Carter song, "I'm all about you, I'm all about us... No baby, you never have to question my love!" AND quite possibly my favorite part is riding in Caroline's car.... with a gun.

If you know Caroline then you know she freaks out about umm, some things... hahah, putting it lightly. ANYWAY, We're all hanging out at my house, find one of my little brothers gun and take it in the car with us.. Caroline had no idea so when we got it out she's flipped... numerous times. It's soo funny, okay... maybe just to us.

So anyway, we took the camera everywhere. Of course we profiled some Walgreens parking lot usuals. Took it to some birthdays and one night we played some game where we would hide the camera in the bushes, a couple of us would go up to a door, act like we lost our dog, then Kale would start barking (because he does a perfect dog impression) and all the sudden we'd find our long lost puppy.... don't know why we thought it was so fun but it was a blast. C'mon we were 16 and had just started driving!

At one point Jacob takes the camera with him and Brandon as they ride the avenue… you know, through the sonic, down to walgreens parking lot and back to sonic. Honetly, it’s priceless. They are in the big green track, with the green strobe light going and Brandon’s signature “Big Truck Driver” jam blaring. It’s Brandon to a T. Then Jacob spends about 5 minutes of the video trying to talk Brandon out of racing another truck, did it work? Of course not! Typical.

Then we all loaded up in Brandon's truck and Lewis’ Bronco, ride to walmart and get kicked out. We did however, steal the sign off the playground equipment.

Then the video went into football season, I wish I could put a clip on here. We learned this chant a cheer camp that went..... "Two times four is half of sixteen... all for the WILDCATS, stand up and lean! (throw your arms up and lean from side to side while saying....) A lean a lean a lean a lean a lean a lean times 100." You get the point. It was so corny. Mrs. Vicky even got this little portable PA system for Sydney to yell it out on.. you know, so all the fans would get into it! Can't say that really worked.

ANYWAY, It was a nice little walk down memory lane. I've got to figure out how to get that video off the tape it's on... it's like a VIDEO 8 super old school tape and I can't pull it off with any of the equipment from work. :( Oh well, I'll get it. Then hopefully I can post some on here!

Well... that's all for me tonight. I'm about to hit the sack... I've got to go into work at midnight tonight. But I'm excited, it's the first night of the Arkansas LOTTERY so that's my story for tomorrow. I'm settin up at the Expressway on Northwest Avenue tonight to talk to the first lottery ticket buyers :) Gonna be fun, come out!

XOXO,

ARH
